    1 of 1 Drape Dress by GRACE GUI

    This Drape Dress was hand knit and machine knit over the course of a week. Knit with a skein of artisanal handspun wool from Maine by a mother and her daughter and 50/50 irregular spun cotton silk from Japan. 

    Flower hammered with a bouquet bought from a local vendor in Brooklyn NYC. Felted with ethically harvested fiber from Boots, a GRACE GUI Studio angora rabbit, raised in Brooklyn NYC. Ends will be woven in before shipping.

GRACE GUI is a Brooklyn farm to fashion based knitwear project by Grace Wang. GRACE GUI combines the Americana influences in her life, that had previously stunted her self acceptance, and combines them with her introspective resurgence of love for herself and her Chinese background. She solely sources from female independent farmers and artisans along with raising her own silkworms and angora rabbit in her Bushwick studio.
