Made to Order Sunday Silk Cocoon Wedding Gown by GRACE GUI

This Sunday Silk Cocoon Wedding Gown by GRACE GUI is knit with three cones of artisanal cotton yarn from Japan. Felted with artisanally dyed tussah silk from Japan and embroidered with foraged wild goldenrod silk cocoons sourced in NYC. Finished with vintage deadstock silk frog closures from Michigan and a deadstock mohair Chinese good luck knot.

Each piece will be slightly varied due to the organic nature of the production style and design process of GRACE GUI Studio. 

Sizing

Model wears a size S

This piece fits true to size, but due to the stretchiness of the knit, each size can fit up two sizes larger based on the desired tightness and fit.

For example, size S fit S-L, size M fits M-XL, size L fits L-XXL

GRACE GUI is a Brooklyn farm to fashion based knitwear project by Grace Wang. GRACE GUI combines the Americana influences in her life, that had previously stunted her self acceptance, and combines them with her introspective resurgence of love for herself and her Chinese background. She solely sources from female independent farmers and artisans along with raising her own silkworms and angora rabbit in her Bushwick studio. The felting technique used to create fiberlinework is patented by Grace Gui LLC. as of May 2023. All items are knit and/or felted by hand, making each piece truly one of a kind.
