Details

Fully fashioned hand-made dress knit from 50% alpaca and 50% botanically dyed silk sourced in NYC. Felting is 100% Alpaca fiber sourced from a small fiber festival in NJ. Embroidery is with silk cocoons ethically raised in GG Brooklyn Studio.

Each piece will be slightly varied due to the organic nature of the production style and design process of GRACE GUI studio.

GRACE GUI combines the Americana influences in her life, that had previously stunted her self acceptance, and combines them with her introspective resurgence of love for herself and her Chinese background. She solely sources from female independent farmers and artisans along with raising her own silkworms and angora rabbit in her Bushwick studio. The felting technique used to create fiberlinework is patented by Grace Gui LLC. as of May 2023. All items are knit and/or felted by hand, making each piece truly one of a kind.
