Ola Lewczyk

Working primarily with beeswax, clay and other natural materials, Ola Lewcyzk uses personal symbolism as a medium and touch as a portal. With hidden wicks becoming pathways of fire, her candles are an offering of light from her hand to yours. As multiple flames burn at the same time, wax pours itself into new shapes – moving, shining, destroying, ceasing. Each piece is only complete when lit.
