Sercetvir is an independent ceramic artist based in Odesa, Ukraine. Her work is grounded in cultural and historical research, often leaning into the recreation and reinterpretation of traditional forms. She centers her practice on handcrafted, one-of-a-kind stoneware pieces, with a particular focus on everyday household objects — their purpose is to be used, to serve, and ideally to be cherished long enough to become a kind of family heirloom.

The name “Sercetvir” is a fusion of the Ukrainian words for ‘heart’ [serce] and ‘creation’ [tvir]. The name embodies the act of crafting with deep emotional connection and sincerity. It suggests an objects made with heartfelt intention.
