Made from vintage and antique French needlepoints, the Blackwood Jacket is a corseted puff sleeve style lace-up top with a bright vivid red puff and binding with brown lacing. Its short V-shaped silhouette is supported by upcycled fruit packaging boning collected from Cardiff Fruit market.

The needlepoints were donated by the wonderful Of Planet Earth whose collection has been amassed via trips to French flea markets

Materials: Cotton and wool tapestries, viscose crepe lining (subject to colour ways) Plastic boning, metal eyelets, cotton lacing

* The jacket is a one off in a size small, best fitting a Bust 32”- 35” Waist 26”- 29” although it can be worn by an Xsmall as more of a jacket. Please email customercare@apoc-store.com with your order number and measurements for custom sizing.

Rosie Evans is the eponymous ‘High Fantasy’ luxury fashion label creating one-off and small runs of anachronistic historically-inspired fashion, following the ethical practice of upcycling old textiles and materials. Rosie works solely using ‘Fabrics with a past’. 1950s hand-embroidered tablecloths, old silk curtains and patchwork scrap fabric make up the bulk of her collections. As well as working to save fabric waste, Rosie also collects plastic fruit packaging tape from the Cardiff food market to use as boning for her corsets and dresses.
