A silver ring engraved with a green alkanet plant. The leaves and flowers spread around this piece with a kinetic bar and natural blue sapphire. Green alkanet, a cousin of (and often mistaken for) the forget-me-not, traditionally used to create red dye (the root of the word coming from the arabic al-henna) and believed to have protective qualities to ward off evil spirits.
