Ia Kutateladze, is a Georgian born, Berlin based designer / artist. Inspired by human psychology, the mind, emotional states, and life experiences, her work delves into the intricate connections between form, materiality, and human experience. Through extensive research and experimentation, seeking to translate complex emotions, memories, and life occurrences into tangible creations. Guided by instinct as much as by reflection, embracing spontaneity and the open- ended flow of intuition, her approach often resists rigid structures, allowing each piece to evolve naturally. Recent work focuses on unique pieces at the intersection of art and design, using materials such as clay, metal, wood, cement, glass, etc. while continuously seeking new ways to expand her expressive vocabulary.
