The Envy dress is handmade using a fine-knitting machine. The ladders are designed to contour the body, in a snake-like shape. The knitted pattern allows the dress to be worn as a hood, on the shoulders, or hanging off the shoulders, and is backless. The dress is knitted from soft sheep wool.

The knit is stretchy, providing a comfortable but sleek fit.
