Gérald Lajoie-Restrepo (1995) is a Canadian artist and designer currently living and practicing on the unceded Kanien'keha:ka territory of Tohti:áke known as Montréal. Lajoie finds interest in questions of architecture metaphysics, representationality and relational ontology. With a recent focus on the domestic, their abstract semi-functional works foster a tension between familiarity and materialism, casting light on our infrastructures of discernment.
